Description

Taking place on Monday 7th & Tuesday 8th September in central Manchester, Trafford Housing Trust, Numbers4Good and the Health Social Innovators partnership are bringing together a unique blend of CCG representatives, behavioural economists, health investors, designers, social entrepreneurs, housing associations, architects, charity leaders and web developers to design five new solutions that will reduce health inequality.

While traditionally associated with computing, our 'hackathon' will be framed around the health needs of real people, and together with you we'll seek to develop non-medical interventions that improve people's wellbeing and potentially save money for the NHS. By focusing on real people and problems, we hope to achieve tangible solutions to people's problems that could be scaled up and delivered across the North West. The end goal of the ‘hackathon’ will be five potential solutions, with the winner receiving a grant to turn the idea into a social business.

Benefits of coming along include:

• Participating in an innovative event that will have real impact
• Connecting with a unique and diverse group of attendees
• A chance to claim a £5,000 grant to turn one of the ideas into a social business

Places are limited and if you'd like to take part, don't hesitate to sign up.
